Prenatal consultations allow for early detection of complications related to pregnancy and childbirth and increase the baby's chances to survive.

Boda Hospital is home to one of the few neonatal units in the Central African Republic 🇨🇫 ; there, our experienced midwives consult mothers, with the support of the #FondsBêkou - EU International Partnerships .

🔎 Have you ever seen a patient care unit built in 72 hours?

(Re)Discover the CUBE: designed by ALIMA, this care unit weighs 640 lbs and can therefore be deployed extremely quickly in the event of an outbreak. 🛑🦠

Constructed of fully transparent walls, it has "external arms" which allow health care workers and families to interact with patients without any risk of contamination.
Protecting the patient and his or her family while allowing the patient to maintain contact with his or her loved ones is essential for the patient's mental health, and therefore for his or her recovery.

🌍 World Health Day

In 2009, the founders of ALIMA noticed unequal access to medical progress and felt an urgent need to transform the struggling humanitarian medical model, which was overwhelmed by ever-growing needs and instability.

By developing local expertise, medical research, and innovation in our projects, we aim to go farther in patient care. To do this, we are constantly evaluating our medical practices with a single objective: to bring quality care to everyone, even in the most remote and difficult to access areas.
